DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL

I'll always remember my daddy,
To him, I'll always be his little girl.
When he would come home late from work,
He's still pick me up and give me a twirl.

I'll always remember my daddy,
With his faint smell of aftershave.
To me, he seemed taller than everyone.
Very proud and always brave.

I'll always remember my daddy,
Falling asleep in his favorite chair.
But when I needed my daddy,
He was willing and always there.

I'll always remember my daddy,
Always so very strong.
But I'm still daddy's little girl
And I will be my whole life long.
